Creativity – an expression of the soul within us all

Art, music, poetry all play with our emotions of sadness, laughter etc. and are found in all countries and all cultures; expressed from our hearts rather than our heads, it reflects our ‘inner you’.

The Who, Hyde Park, London 2015

At a concert in Hyde Park, London, UK I was struck by the backdrops of light and images the bands had chosen. The Who in particular had a grand display of psychedelic patterns and images. Perhaps the musicians, who are highly creative and strongly connected to their ‘inner you’, have half remembered memories of life between lives.

One of the Who backdrops reminded me of a Near Death Experience (NDE) I experienced when I was 11 years old. Imagine a translucent glass sink which is light by a strong white light from below. Water is running into the sink and flowing freely down the plug hole. The water dances and sparkles and twists around. The sink’s edges soften and sway. This was the same scene of my NDE.

Another bright display by the Who reminded me of the description given by Dr Eben Alexander in ‘Proof of Heaven’ when he had an NDE while in a 7 day coma.  Eben’s consciousness left his body and went to visit a different dimension which had many lights in it.  While this Who display was on the enormous screen my friends commented on how unusually calm and quiet the audience was. Perhaps it touched a memory in them too. I was one of 70,000 people at the concert.
