Does your intuition really give good guidance?

Intuition has been recognised over the ages as a ‘gut feeling’ which lets you know if something is not right. Intuition can be much more than an alert mechanism. For me it is a beacon which you can use to listen to messages of guidance from your soul, guide and spirit. It works two ways, so you can ask questions too. Over time you will learn to distinguish the different feel of you soul, guide and spirit so you will know who you are talking to.

How do I feel my intuition?

The messages are not usually in words. They come more as a sensing or knowing. You may also start to see situations or people through your mind’s eye. When I was first training as a medium, I used to look at people with human eyes. But as I learnt to use all of my senses, I started to use my mind’s eye which is the 3rd eye chakra between your brows. It can look more deeply and give you more insight into what is happening in your life. My 3rd eye then connected with my heart and I could feel in my heart what was right. This is why when you ‘speak from your heart’ people hear the truth and authenticity of what you are saying. If you look at public speakers when this moment arrives, without realising it, they often put their hand on their heart. read more

How do I move forward after great loss?

Loss comes in many forms. A sense of loss is felt when you no longer have a person you love in your life or something such as a job, business or a home. The cause of the loss is varied such as death, a breakup, redundancy, a failed mortgage, but the outcome, a horrible feeling that strikes right at your heart, is the same.

For me loss and fear feel very similar. I lost my husband through an unexpected death in my 40s and experienced real fear from a very public failure of a business project I was leading in my 50s. Both had an enormous impact on my life and my security. read more

Follow your dreams and find your happiness

Life is meant to be lived and enjoyed.  It is true everyone has challenges to help us to learn. But alongside that we are meant to enjoy this wonderful world we live in. The sight and the sound of the sea always lifts my emotions and makes me feel good. Simple things like this brings me joy.

Everyone should have a dream of how they would like their life to be.  Dreams are made to be followed.

Do you remember your dreams?

Everybody dreams but sometimes it is difficult to remember them. If this is the case, before you go to bed write on a piece of paper a question about something you would like to happen in your life. Leave the rest of the paper blank with the pen on top of it beside your bed. Your soul will not be able to resist giving you something during the night to write on it. read more

Are you in touch with your inner Wild Woman?

When people hear the word ‘wild’ many interpret it as living outside of accepted social norms. Such as staying out late, getting drunk and being that embarrassing person who dances on the tables. This is not my use of the word wild.

When I speak of finding your wild side, it doesn’t mean being out of control but rather the original meaning living a natural life that has innate integrity and healthy boundaries. I am referring to your inner feminine power with your intuitive wisdom and confidence. read more

The choices you make today give you the life you experience tomorrow and onwards. Sometimes it takes courage to make the choices you know that are right for you.

I feel so alone….

When life is really challenging, sometimes we can feel really alone. Typically, this is at times of change. Most commonly this is as a result of one of the three Ds – divorce, debt and death. Sadly, more than one of these can happen at the same time.

How do you cope when you feel very alone with a big challenge, like one of the 3 Ds?

Your greatest friend and guide at times like this is your soul. Many people don’t realise they are in contact with their soul. I spoke to mine for years not realising who he was. read more

Is kindness worth the effort?

When I was growing up, I used to play with a small group of girls who lived nearby. Generally, we all got on and we played happily together. After the long summer holidays together, perhaps we had spent too much time together and one of us would say or do something unkind.

When I used to go running to my mum upset, she did not say – oh you poor thing. Instead, she used to ask me to imagine how that person must feel inside to be so unkind. I should feel grateful that I didn’t feel like that.

A little kindness can go a long way. read more
