Diana writes with an open and heart felt-style which is easy to engage with.  The introduction informs us how she came to write about angels which is both entertaining and engages you in the subject.  Diana then tells us all about angels, our guardian angel which everyone has and how to talk to someone else’s guardian angel to help ease a difficult situation.  We hear about the wonderful signals angels give to show they have paid us a visit.   She goes on to tell us of the benefits of song and how angels communicate with us in our sleep.

If you are just learning about angels, Diana gives you all the basics you need to know in a gentle style with lots of real life examples to illustrate key points.

The next section on Archangels and the Higher Hierarchy, I found harder to read.  My advice would be read as much as you find useful.  However do not be deterred from reading what each angel can bring to us.  These are good chapters to dip in and out of according to what is useful to you personally.

The chapter on Your Expanded Self is interesting but you may or may not be attracted to it if you are just setting out on your journey.  Give it a try but do not be afraid if you want to skip to the next chapter.

Archangels and the Chakras is a very informative and useful chapter.  Members of your soul family often talk to you through a particular chakra so understanding the emotions associated with the chakra can add meaning to the communication.  Diana talks you through the different chakras you have according to where you are in your development.  Most people have third-dimensional chakras and when I read this book many years ago I do not even remember reading about the fourth and fifth-dimensional chakras.  Take from this chapter the learnings you are comfortable with.

Finally at the end of the book are lots of good exercises aimed at improving your ability to communicate with angels, to invite them more into your life and to gain benefit from a greater awareness of them.  My suggestion would be to dip into these exercises and try the ones that appeal to you.  Personally I love the angel shower and use this one to refresh me when I need it…
