Sit or stand still for a moment. Place a hand on your chest or belly. Take one slow breath in and let your shoulders soften as you breathe out. Then let your breathing settle into a natural rhythm.

Next, notice one thing you can feel in your body. Perhaps warmth. Grounding. Softness. Or even tension that wants to release. Stay with it for a moment. Let the awareness be gentle.
