ABC of love: f is for family
f is for the family who loves and nurtures you
We think of family as our blood family, perhaps in-laws as well. There is another definition of family;
‘all of the people important to your life and to your development ‘

“‘Falling in love’ is an interesting term. We could say ‘strolling into love’ or ‘mentally preparing for love’ but we use the term ‘falling.’ It’s almost like it’s we’re throwing ourselves off a cliff and falling without any hope of parachute or sense that we may get wounded along the way. It’s simply opening ourselves up to the experience and hoping the other person is also falling beside us.”
— Lodro Rinzler, author of the new book “Love Hurts” and co-founder of MNDFL meditation studio.

Life’s challenges develop you as a person. They ask you to go beyond what you think is possible. President Kennedy gave his fellow Americans a challenge on the 12th September 1962.
d is for our human doves of peace who are honest, humble and give a sense of freedom
Doves are a universal symbol of peace, humanity and love. They are pure white, beautiful and have the freedom of flight.
c is for those who show concern for the misfortunes of others
Helping our children to understand the importance of compassion and the difference it can make to others is key. Take a look at this video from the Power of Positive Thinking. It defines compassion better than I can in words.
b is for retaining your balance through all of those challenges in life
Be kind to yourself, you are not a magician and we all try to do our best.
Be happy with yourself if you have made the choices you felt were right. If you find out there are better choices, change what you choose to do.
