Mother Nature: can nature’s music release our souls?

Your ‘inner you’ or soul can feel constrained by your body in your earthly life.  Yet nature’s music can relax, inspire and bring clarity of thought to you.

I believe your ‘inner you’ can travel on sound such as water and music.  You can go beyond your body and re-experience the freedom you have in the Afterlife.

This is why humans respond so strongly to these sounds and find them relaxing and sleep inducing.

In sleep a part of you returns home for advice, guidance and inspiration on your life and its challenges. read more

ABC of love: b is for balance in life

b is for retaining your balance through all of those challenges in life

Be kind to yourself, you are not a magician and we all try to do our best.

Be happy with yourself if you have made the choices you felt were right.  If you find out there are better choices, change what you choose to do.

Associates

As the saying goes ‘Variety is the spice of life’.  When you are seeking to understand the world you live in, your place in it and who you are; variety of approach is good.  By trying different approaches you might find that one gives you greater insight than another.  However many people find it difficult to find authentic people who can show them their approach.

I have spent the last 20 years seeking out such people.  Below are people I have either worked with , been their student or their client.  I have found them helpful in my personal development. Of course you need to decide if they are right for you. read more

Spring is a time for change: simple steps to finding joy

After a long hard winter this year, Mother Nature is stirring.  New beginnings are arriving.

Now is the time to look at your life and decide if all is well or you want to introduce some changes.

Is your life bringing you joy?

Life is for enjoyment not endurance….  It always surprises me how a small change can often make a big difference to how you feel about your life, for example;

  • Making some time for yourself is a wonderful tonic when you lead a hectic work and home life.
  • No phones or email for a day can be a revelation giving uninterrupted time to focus on yourself, family or friends.
  • Make a lonely person happy by a visit sharing your chatter, fun and enjoyment of life.
  • Walk and talk in nature with a friend or loved one can make life feel worthwhile.
  • Time to sit in silence and find personal calmness.

Whatever brings you joy – seek it out over the long holiday weekend.

Drop a comment on what you are planning to do or have done.  I would love to hear from you. read more
