Spirit art: what is it?

When you have sat with a medium and they give you a message from a passed loved one, have you ever wondered if it is authentic?  Many people do and they are right to be cautious as there are charlatans who put themselves forward as a medium.

What better way to checkout your message than to ask the medium to draw a picture of who is bringing you the message. Of course the message could come from a loved one or even perhaps a guide.  Sometimes you may not recognise the person and you take the picture away wondering who the person is.  Time often tells you the answer. read more

Home: do we value what it gives us?

I could not imagine what it is like to not have a home and a clean, warm bed to sleep in at night. Yet people sleep rough on our city streets every night, some by choice others by necessity. Yet it is not without its dangers. I remember how upset my daughter was when their friendly local tramp in her university city died of hypothermia one winter.

Hope: how to find the next step of belief

Hope is the thing with feathers

Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without the words,
And never stops at all,

And sweetest in the gale is heard;
And sore must be the storm
That could abash the little bird
That kept so many warm.

I’ve heard it in the chillest land,
And on the strangest sea;
Yet, never, in extremity,
It asked a crumb of me.

ABC of love: e is for emotions

e is for our emotions which connect us all

Can someone else read your emotions?

Think what it’s like to be in a room with a person who is angry or disapproving of you. You can feel their anger without them even saying a word.

College of Psychic Studies – Open Evening

Last Friday there was a buzz in the air as the college opened its doors to people interested in knowing what they do and to try out a sitting with a healer, medium or one of the other disciplines.  It was a great opportunity to meet college tutors and students.
