Healing: tips on helping it to happen

Relax and know that healing can help no matter what the state of your health is at the time. It often works silently away without you being away of it. It is not just for the time you might have a healing session or do a healing meditation. When you ask for help it does arrive.

Having worked as a healer for many years, my observations and tips on healing are;

  • Relax and allow the healing to happen. Your soul knows you well and will guide the healing you need. It will silently continue long after your healing session. Healing often comes with messages of love and support from those you love who have already passed. They were always there for you and continue to be there for you, people such as parents and partners.

Healing will take place whether you believe in it or not.

  • Practice relaxing techniques such as taking three deep breaths or walking in nature alone. Illness often brings worry and anxiety, so anything that helps you to relax is worthwhile. It is hard to live from a place of anxiety and fear.

Learn to live from a place of calmness.

  • Even if you know you are terminally ill, healing can help you to relax. It brings in a calmness so you might enjoy the time left to you. There is often a significant reduction in the pain normally expected with your illness. I have heard clients say when they receive healing, they feel truly at peace. But importantly, receiving healing ahead of passing helps to build a stronger bridge between your loved ones in spirit and those on earth. As you start to transition from earth your communication to loved ones in spirit is clearer. When you have passed, you are more easily able to help your grieving loved ones you left on earth.

No healing is wasted.

Healing offers you the opportunity to live the best life you can. Life is a gift and it’s for living and enjoying. read more

Living with balance in your life

Finding balance in all you think, feel and do brings you calmness. In my experience, when you feel calmness there is much more clarity on who you are and what is happening in your life.

In the northern hemisphere the Spring Equinox is coming on the 21st March. It brings us out of winter and officially is the start of the spring season. But what exactly is the spring equinox?

First, let’s get into the equinox, which actually occurs twice a year. We have already mentioned the Spring Equinox. Another equinox occurs on the 23rd September and takes us into autumn. The word equinox comes from Latin and means “equality of night and day.” So, the equinox occurs at two specific moments in time when the sun is exactly above the equator.  read more

Smile at the world

My mum always used to say to me;

“Smile at the world and it will smile back at you.”

It was a good thought to send me to school with and one I particularly remember today. When you are open and feel happy, you radiate such a lovely positive energy people will respond to you without even thinking.

Don’t believe me?

Give my suggestion a try. Spend today smiling at people – walking down the street, in the queue at the supermarket, in the park, at the office. Wherever you come across a stranger, smile at them. Make it a lovely big smile rather than a shy grimace. read more

Families: how to make them stronger so they stay together?

In the UK and I suspect many other countries too, the school half term is now over.

How did the holiday break go with you and your family?

This includes grandparents and anyone else who may have been involved with providing child care for younger children or ‘entertainment’ for older ones in half term week.

Hopefully you all had a wonderful time. But if my memory of being a working mum serves me right, this was not always the case. There is often so much expectation of the fun of being together, but without the ground work already in place, anticipation can turn to disappointment, frustration and fatigue. read more

Is it my spirit guide I am talking to?

Who is sending you lovely uplifting messages of love and guidance?

How do you recognise who is speaking to you?  Is it your spirit guide talking to you or perhaps your own soul or a passed loved ones?

Understanding who is communicating with you can help you to understand the message. Each communicator will come with a different feel. Over time you will recognise the different energy between a guide or a loved one, much as you can recognise different people’s faces.

The most important thing is that the message is positive and uplifting. If the message is critical or negative. Do not listen to it as it is most likely your ego speaking to you. Stop the process of trying to discern the message and try again another day. read more

3 steps to hear your messages of love and support

It’s good to be able to hear your messages as they make you realise you are never really alone. But how do you go about learning to hear them?

To hear your messages, you will need to find and explore your intuition.
It is through your intuition your messages will arrive.

What is your intuition?  For me this is like an internal radio receiver and sender. It is a communication mechanism we all have which is available for you to use. Contrary to what we may have been taught, we are not designed to be alone but rather to be connected to other people.

There are 3 easy steps to learn to use your intuition;

Step one is to learn to find your centre of inner calmness, usually around the heart area, and see what messages are arriving. read more
