Make family re-unions fun

It is amazing what you can learn just by observing people!

At your next family or friends gathering, be a reporter and see what you discover.  Typical things to look for include;

  • any huddles of people who always seek each other out when you all get together?
  • are these sub-groups laughing or gossiping or being rude to each other?
  • does one person always call out to another?  Is it a greeting of friendship, joke or a challenge?
  • are a couple of people slopping off to be just the two of them and why?
  • who deliberately avoids someone else?  What is causing that?
  • does someone always sit on their own?

These are but a few suggestions.  Try it out and see what other things you can observe.  You will be surprised at how many things are going on.

Are any of these people in your Soul Family?

Soul Family members can be from blood, step or adopted family, in-laws, friends, colleagues or neighbours.  They are the people who are important to you in your life.  That is not to say they are always easy relationships as they may be offering you a challenge which is an opportunity to learn.  Learning and making changes are sometimes hard to do.

Soul Family members can also be your greatest supporters.  They can be the person you go to when everything in your world is falling apart.

For your life to be balanced you need both challenges to learn and moments of kindness to soften the sometimes harsh realities of life.  In your Soul Family you will find both.

Use the information you gather to build your soul map

By being the observer you can learn important information about your soul family.  When you assemble it together in your soul map, there will be fresh insight on you and your life.  You may start to understand some of the life lessons you are learning and who is helping whom with them.  Food for thought…
