Jill Purce
Went to a Healing Voice workshop given by Jill Purce in Hampstead. It is such a beautiful day it feels good to be alive.
In many ways the desire to be a better person and to acquire greater wisdom on love and compassion is a deeply personal and private conversation. The journey one takes to achieve this is immaterial but undertaking or starting to undertake the journey is hugely important to the individual. Some seek a facilitator to help them in this journey.
Jill Purce from London in the UK believes that if we can all learn to use our voices again, we can re-enchant the world and create harmonious families and communities. Jill specialises in overtone chanting and rituals from Mongolia, Tibet and the Native American Indians. Many of the rituals Jill uses are based on shamanism, a practice that involves a practitioner reaching altered states of consciousness in order to perceive and interact with universal energy and channel it into this world. Jill runs workshops which address family healing using shamanic ceremonies.

No one was more surprised than myself. It felt good to voice my question and I felt so much better for doing it. It felt like the person representing my mum was my Mum ….
