One simple way to return to yourself is to pause with a pen and paper. Even a short moment helps. When you let your thoughts land on the page, something inside shifts. The noise softens. Your breath settles. Words you didn’t realise you were holding begin to appear. It does not need to be perfect or neat. It only needs to be yours.
This practice works because writing slows the mind. When you move at the pace of your handwriting, your inner voice has space to catch you. Over time, the messages become clearer. You may notice emotions you hadn’t named or truths you hadn’t spoken. Each line becomes a doorway back to yourself. With every quiet moment, your inner clarity grows.
