4 Step Grieving Process

Grieving For a Loss?

All of us experience grief at some point in our lives.  When we experience it for the first time it can come as quite a shock.  It is often not talked about so it is hard to know how to deal with it.

Grief is not just about the death of a loved one.  It can come in many forms;

  • A break up
  • The selling of your childhood home
  • What you always wanted but never got
  • A person who died
  • A person who is still alive but chooses to be absent in your life
  • The loss of a dream
  • Divorce
  • Infertility
  • Loving someone who is self-destructive
  • The loss of a pet
  • The end of a friendship
  • Job loss or the end of a career

Are you experiencing the grief from any of these life events?  It may be from some time ago but you have yet to reach acceptance.  Here is a good article on how to process your grief so you can feel whole again.
